Dubai Chambers, in collaboration with the UAE Embassy in France, organized an open dialogue in Paris with a select group of French investors. The aim was to highlight the most promising investment opportunities Dubai offers French companies across a range of vital sectors.
In the presence of Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, UAE Ambassador to France, and Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, Director General of Dubai Chambers, and with the participation of 45 French investors, the meeting showcased Dubai’s competitive advantages as a global business and investment hub and a regional base for expansion. It also highlighted the key benefits Dubai offers investors, including a supportive business environment, advanced infrastructure, and flexible regulations. Furthermore, Dubai Chambers emphasized the support it provides to French investors seeking to capitalize on the diverse investment opportunities available in Dubai and expand their operations in the emirate.
Speaking at the meeting, Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah said: “Dubai continues to enhance its appeal to global companies looking to expand their operations and access new markets, thanks to its position as a vibrant international business hub connecting key economies and markets worldwide.” We are committed to supporting French companies and providing them with comprehensive support to accelerate their business expansion in Dubai, enabling them to achieve sustainable growth and capitalize on the diverse opportunities the emirate offers.”
The event comes as 211 new French companies joined the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry during the first quarter of 2026, bringing the total number of active French companies registered with the Chamber to 3,275 by the end of the first quarter of this year, a 559% increase compared to the 497 French companies registered with the Chamber in 2016.
Non-oil trade between Dubai and France is projected to reach AED 40.3 billion in 2025, up from AED 18.4 billion in 2021, representing a 120% growth over five years. France will thus rank as Dubai’s third largest European trading partner in 2025, accounting for 17.7% of Dubai’s total foreign trade with EU countries last year.
